Creaky drop down bed.

    Hi all, does anyone have problems with very squeaky creaky drop down bed when traveling. On optima t75hge. It is so annoying. I have taken it back to dealer three times but it just gets worse each time they try to correct it. Any ideas on how to adjust it myself.?? Many thanks. John

    Hi everyone, i have found the relevant buttons to translate I am guessing that signature means a bit about us so this is it. We are in our 60's, have 5 children and 15grandchildren, the optima t75hge is our 6th motorhome but the only one from new. We love to travel in europe also have a great church

    our T65 HFL has also this drop down bed. It's our second Camper with drop a down bed and both were making (sometimes terrible) annoying sounds. I talked to other owners and it seems to be normal.


    Last month I removed the cotton cloths on the left and the right side (the "Roman curtains). They are only fixed with Velcro on the top, so it's very easy and fast done. I besmared all joints with grease (petroleum jelly) and it did wonders! I think this is the normal maintenance you have to do...

    Thank you I have sprayed with grease and it helps for a while but think it's a regular maintenance item. Dealer couldn't help so did it myself as you have done. On trip in France now, great time. Best wishes, John
